“Prioritizing YOU: why self-care matters”✨🌸

Sprinkle kindness like confetti 🙂

Firstly, why self-care is important? Why we should prioritise ourselves? What are the benefits of self-care? Let me tell you!

So Self-care is important because it helps us recharge, reduce stress, and maintain overall well-being. When we prioritize self-care, we are better equipped to handle life’s challenges, both mentally and physically. Taking time for ourselves allows us to rest, rejuvenate, and nurture our mental health. It’s like giving yourself permission to pause, breathe, and focus on your own needs, which can ultimately lead to increased happiness and a better quality of life. Self-care isn’t selfish; it’s essential for self-preservation and maintaining a healthy balance in our lives. So, remember to take care of yourself because you deserve it.

Prioritizing ourselves is crucial because it allows us to be at our best for others. When we take care of our own needs and well-being, we are better able to support and help those around us. It’s like the concept of putting on your oxygen mask first before assisting others on a plane – you need to take care of yourself to be in a position to care for others effectively. Prioritizing ourselves also fosters self-respect, boosts self-esteem, and helps prevent burnout. It’s about recognizing our own value and making sure we are in a good place physically, mentally, and emotionally. So, remember, it’s okay to prioritize yourself; you matter too.

On the other hand we should know the benefits of self-care are plentiful! When we take the time to care for ourselves, we experience reduced stress levels, improved mental health, increased productivity, and enhanced overall well-being. Self-care can also boost our immune system, increase our resilience to challenges, and improve our relationships with others. It helps us recharge, relax, and focus on what truly matters in our lives. By practicing self-care regularly, we can lead a more balanced, fulfilling, and joyful life. So, don’t forget to prioritize self-care and reap all these amazing benefits.

NOOR : A movie review

Noor- a journalist who tries to search big break news that will set her apart from the pack. It was adapted from pakistani writer Saba Imtiaz’s novel; “Karachi you are killing me.” Actor Sonakshi Sinha playing the character of Noor who found a socially relevant big breaking news story , also she has a failed relationship in past but now she’s trying to hitched with Ayananka Banerjee ; he’s a war photographer and role played by Purab Kohli. In the starting of this new relationship of two journalists giving us the romeo and juliet vibe, which is interesting. But suddenly all the happiness in the noor’s life converted into a failure or something which was not expected at all . All this happened just because of Purab , his action was wrong and it falls little short of our expectations. But Noor didn’t gave up which is the main thing i liked about Noor. I know as a journalist it’s your job to found out that type of news or a case that will change your life and someone’s life too but it’s not always change your life in a positive way sometimes it can be negative too. After the interval , an organ stealing racket busted by Noor involving a renowned doctor and how she opens up the eye of Mumbai people by making them alert, specially through that part “Mumbai you are killing me.” Basically in second part they showed how she gets justice and loved the way she did all of that not because of her career but for Smita Tambe who played the character of Malti. Malti was working as a maid in Noor’s house, i really liked the way Noor didn’t gave up for Malti and so many people like Malti who lost their loved ones in organ stealing fraud company, Noor took a stand for that people and she also gets justice for the victims of organ transplants and stealing. At the end Noor’s closed friend Saad proposed her which is very sweet. I’m also a journalism student so i liked this movie so much.
